THE OPPORTUNITY: Our Horizon Oil Sands operation is expanding with project spending for 2012 forecasted at approximately $2 Billion with similar spending projected each year for the next 5 years.
The Interface Coordinator will provide timely and effective communication on changes or updates that may be required to the process design and/or operating conditions of construction processes.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK? • Facilitate interaction and coordination between the Horizon projects for the next phases of Silo expansion related with: o Piping interfaces o Electrical interfaces o Instrument and control interfaces o Interfaces between project areas and existing facilities o Interfaces with other Horizon expansion projects and considerations: • Pipe racks: space, pipes, cable trays, loads • Locations of tie-ins • Building expansion considerations • Wider constructability considerations associated with Horizon • Coordinate information using relevant channels and processes, ensure necessary information is communicated to all project silos • Participate in inter-silo communication meetings and ensure follow up
QUALIFICATIONS: • Typically 10+ years of related industry experience with Engineering Degree • Registration or eligibility for registration with APEGA
