Horizon Oil Sands, north of Fort McMurray, is an exciting part of our growth. Horizon Oil Sands operations started in February 2005 and after years of planning and construction, the Horizon Oil Sands successfully and sustainably produced its first barrels of high quality, sweet synthetic crude oil (SCO) in early 2009. First production of SCO was a major milestone for Canadian Natural and we are very pleased with the success of the project. With Phase 1 production capacity of 110,000 bpd, this is just the first step in value creation.  Looking to the future, our assets support 232,000 – 250,000 barrels per day of light, sweet, crude oil production for over 40 years, with no production declines.

This position is based in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Position Summary

SCOPE:
•To provide general end user support for the Supply Management applications.  This includes maintaining the Supply Management data, designing and running reports, relating the EnterpriseOne system to the Supply Management Policies and Procedures and coordinating training and access requirements.
•You will be the liaison between the Supply Management end users to the EnterpriseOne Support team and members of the Project Control team.
•You will work closely with Contract Administration to support the administration of contracts and purchase orders.  This includes relating Supply Management Policies and Procedures into EnterpriseOne procedures for changes, amendments and minor contracts and purchase orders.

KEY AREAS OF CONTRIBUTION:
•Develop and execute classroom and custom training on Oracle EnterpriseOne for Supply Management.
•Represent Supply Management and Maintenance areas in the design, development and testing of modifications and reports with the EnterpriseOne Support team and be accountable for producing regular commitment reports. 
•Relating the EnterpriseOne system to the Business Policies and Procedures and providing general end user support for the Supply Management and Maintenance applications.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Curriculum development and delivery of fit for purpose classroom training for Supply Management and Maintenance areas for E2 and other Horizon systems.
•Communicating with and training Business SuperUsers and other customized training requirements
•Producing ad hoc reports for Supply Management and Maintenance.
•Participating in the development and testing of future modifications and reports for the Supply Management and Maintenance applications  by translating Business requirements into technical E1 requirements
•Supporting user needs for Supply Management and Maintenance applications (Requisitions, Contracts, Purchase Orders, Change Management, Blanket Orders, Work Orders, Preventative Maintenance) by assisting end users with processing transactions and inquires
•Investigating and resolving data integrity issues in coordination with various groups
•Using knowledge of business processes and technical functionality of EnterpriseOne to analyze and provide solutions to Supply Management and Maintenance’s daily needs for contract and work order management

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
Education & Experience:

•Relevant Post Secondary Education
•5+ years ERP related application experience (EnterpriseOne preferred);
•Working knowledge of EnterpriseOne file structures and processes considered an asset;
•Technical training experience;
•Previous implementation and / or support experience 
•Construction and / or mining related experience desirable;

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
•The ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the value of others as well as  yourself
•The ability to manage multiple priorities and relate to a variety of groups.  This includes working directly with technical groups and end-users with limited technical skills.
•Exceptional problem solving skills coupled with proven analytical abilities enabling you to consider the details and complexities of issues, while still driving for results.
